Sourdough Discard Chocolate Chip Cookies

There's nothing better than a good chocolate chip cookie that just melts in your mouth, not long after it makes it's appearance from the oven.


Now let me tell you, it took a couple tries to get this right but once I did....it worked brilliantly.

The reason: I added sugar with the dry ingredients first...DON'T DO THIS. Just...wait.

I used my stand mixer to mix the sugar and browned butter together and YUM. Turned out much better than my last batches that were not as well mixed.


Mixing the right ingredients in order is key. I know, I know...I should've just read the recipe correctly, but getting distracted is pretty easy in my household with two young kids always saying "Mama! Watch me!".
